Crime Victim Assistance Program
There are many ways a crime can affect your life. If you have been physically or emotionally hurt as a result of a violent crime, you may be entitled to financial assistance.
The Crime Victim Assistance Program (CVAP) assists victims, immediate family members and some witnesses in coping with the effects of violent crime. It provides financial benefits to help offset financial losses and assist in recovery. Benefits for victims:

Refugee Readiness Team
From 2022-2024, the Government of Canada has committed to resettling more than 3 times the annual number of refugees (150,000 compared to 45,000 pre-pandemic). Adding to this dramatic increase, the Government responded to Russia’s war on Ukraine by opening a new visa stream—the Canada-Ukrainian Authorization for Emergency Travel (CUAET)—which has opened the door to +75,000 forcibly displaced Ukrainians since August 24, 2022.
Given that BC receives roughly 10% of Canada’s refugee arrivals and 17-20% of CUAET visa-holders, the next two years will stretch refugee-serving organizations and communities well beyond existing capacities. Email: [email protected] |

Men's Suicide Prevention Campaign This campaign is focused on preventing suicide among men. It's a call to action by men, for men, to encourage open and honest conversations about mental health.
Driving Authentic Conversation Amongst Men The goal of this campaign is to drive authentic conversation amongst men and their buddies. By creating a safe space for men to talk about their mental health, we hope to break down barriers and reduce the stigma surrounding mental illness.
