New BC Recovery Benefit
The BC Recovery Benefit is a one-time, tax-free payment of up to $1,000 for eligible families and single parents and up to $500 for eligible individuals.
Benefit eligibility is based on net income from your 2019 tax return. You must apply to receive the benefit. Applications open December 18, 2020. |
In-Person or Online Interactive Covid-19 101 Workshops

We have an exciting opportunity coming up and would like to know your interest for it. REACH Community Health Centre is running both in-person and online COVID 101 Workshops. These workshops are meant to be an interactive and engaging workshop to learn about the facts of COVID-19 and how to safely navigate the community during this pandemic. Kits that include masks, soaps, hand sanitizers, and more will also be included in the workshop. Let us know if you are interested as spots may be limited, and if so, if you would be interested in an in-person workshop or an online workshop. Most of us understand the preventative benefits of physical distancing, handwashing and hygiene to fend off illness. However, how many of us are aware of how to enhance our emotional resilience to fend off the negative impacts of stress? The science tells us that intentionally working to enhance our emotional and psychological resilience enhances our immune function, and helps us bounce-back from life’s inevitable stressors and demands in a more effective way. In this session, attendees will gain useful evidence-based skills and strategies for enhancing their overall psychological health, wellness and resilience – at home, and at work – in the modern-day context of COVID-19.
